Right down the road.

River St. That is my address. If you take a left at the end of my road, drive past the Billings Farm and take your next right, you turn onto River Road. Follow for a few miles and on the left is a great place called the Quechee Inn. That is where Tara and Rob were getting married. Kaht was back on board and the weekends weather was some of the best we had all summer. Sunshine and cool breezes, hair and make-up, flowers arriving and the finishing touches on the tent - all this happening in a whirlwind and Kaht and I shooting - perfect.

Enjoy some selects.

Sunday

Call in the reserves for the Lilac Inn.

The next stop on the 2008 wedding season was right up the road in Brandon, Vermont. With my usual assistant Kaht taking the weekend off, I called in the reserves, fellow photographer Garren Poirier to be second camera and assistant. Garren and I were heading to the Lilac Inn for the wedding of Kelley and Zach. When we arrived we found all the normal pre-festivities going down, hair, make-up and celebrations all around as bottles of champagne were being popped and shots of whiskey downed. The call was made to have the ceremony inside as the weather just could not make up it's mind. Nonetheless, not long into the reception the skies cleared out and everyone was treated to a fantastic sunset.

These next two photos were taken by Garren Poirier. You can check out Garren's website HERE.
