Thursday

Fireworks and a wedding on the 4th.

Over the 4th of July weekend, my assistant Kaht and I headed south to Manchester, Vermont to photograph the wedding of Kristen and Aaron. The venue was the Arlington Inn, one of Vermont's oldest farm houses. The Inn and it's gardens are beautiful and a wonderful place to host a wedding. The Inn was producing a commercial during the wedding, you can see the footage HERE. And if you look closely at minute 1:35 and minute 1:45, that's me snapping away.

Kristen and her bridesmaids getting ready.

My assistant Kaht covered the groom Aaron and his guys trying to figure out something??

Time for a portrait before the ceremony.

The ceremony was held in the back gardens of the Inn.

My assistant Kaht even captured the Inn's pet rooster when he came to check out the ceremony.

Time for a few not-so-posed portraits.

And right after dinner, the sun burst through the clouds. It was the most orange sunset I'd ever seen, just amazing. Not letting the light go to waste, I hustled Kristen and Aaron to the front of the Inn and shot as quick as I could before the sun set.

Like all good weddings, dancing and cake finished the night.

Father - Daughter dance in the barn.

Some fun limbo with the brides dress.

Hands...touchin' hands...reachin' out...touchin' me....touchin' you...
